The Cave house sits perfectly on the southern part of Santorini, in the historically acclaimed village of Emporio. Its name reveals its commercial value, as the village has been the island’s center of commerce for centuries. Just 10 miles from Fira, the vibrant capital of Santorini, Emporio is the largest southern settlement on the island and boasts a long-lasting history. In the heart of Emporio, travelers are free to admire the well-preserved “castle-like” structures called kasteli.
From Emporio village, you may easily access all the major attractions and points of interest in Santorini. The archaeological site of Akrotiri sits just a few minutes drive from the Cave house, along with the famous Lighthouse for splendid sunsets. The Red, White and Black beaches are all situated in the south of Santorini, making access from Emporio village smooth and prompt. Vlihada, Perivolos and Perissa beaches are also close-by, while in Kamari the beach is combined with a splendid promenade filled with restaurants, cafes and bars to enjoy.
The Cave house consists of a large living room, a bedroom, a large wardrobe room, kitchen area, WC and a snow-white spacious shower “room” with artificial lighting, which creates a feeling of relaxation and exposure to the Cycladic sun. The terrace with the built-in lounge and the chaise lounges is an idyllic relaxation space. There is a modern, timed ventilation system in all its rooms. The wardrobe room can be used as an additional bedroom.
According to the plot ratio, there is also a “buildable remainder” at the terrace where an additional space can be built as a bedroom or any other use. The residence is, until today, used as tourist accommodation with high return and it can constitute an ideal touristic investment or a dreamy vacation residence.
